Stone

One day, flying through the neighborhood, Piotr Afonasyevich noticed a giant stone in the vegetable garden of a citizen. The stone was lying in the middle of the yard, overhanging a lovely flowerbed.

Fakofsky, without thinking for long, swooped down and landed near a huge rock.

- Where did you come from? - Petr Afonasyevich asked. The stone, of course, did not answer.

- Well, wherever you came from, you picked the wrong place to lie down. You do have a sense of beauty, though. I encountered a civilization of stones in one of the dimensions, maybe that's where you're from.

Without waiting for an answer, Fakofsky put his arms around the stone, picked it up, and carrying it to the edge of the vegetable garden, placed the stone on the grass by the fence.

- You can admire it from here," said Pyotr Afonasyevich, stroking the stone with his hand, but then on the threshold of the house he noticed the owner of the house. The citizen froze in amazement, watching what was happening. Realizing that what was happening was beyond the citizen's worldview, Fakofsky felt it necessary to clarify the situation.

He approached the owner of the lot.

- Hello, good man," said Piotr Afonasyevich. - You will probably agree that no man can lift and carry such a large and heavy stone. Nature did not give birth to it. Nature, however, has forces, which any man can use if necessary. So the flowers, who called me to help, gave me incredible strength for a time, which enabled me to carry the stone and free them from its weight. It's simple," Fakofsky explained. After that, having considered the question exhausted and saying "I have the honor", he rose into the air and soared upward.

There was a clinking sound of broken china downstairs - it was the astonished citizen who dropped the cup he had been holding in his hands all this time.

- Hm," Fakofsky wondered, hanging in the air, "what surprised this gentleman so much? I explained everything so clearly.....

Piotr Afonasievich shrugged his shoulders and flew on about his business.

Truly, how amazing the most obvious and ordinary events seem to us at times.
