To put it even more precisely. it all comes down to the developmental level of the participant-observer.
The conscious observer is almost a god. When he gets the freedom to participate in creation, he becomes a god or co-creator.
One gains experience, the corporeal, on the basis of which there is the possibility of a representation of reality, the mental. Based on differences. Reality expands with the expansion of direct experience. Experience is always objective, but its interpretation is not.
A pure mind is able to visualize reality as it is, based on the sensations of the body. An impure mind is a crooked mirror, too many inferences, rules, dogmas, it does not perceive reality, it thinks, it builds theories. For this purpose, an objective two-way connection between body and mind is built, which most people have broken in favor of the speculative, illusory, consumerist view of reality. Reality is what is convenient. However, reality is what it is. It is real.
When a person perceives reality with the help of his senses, his body immediately receives a response - sensations, on the basis of which the mind builds a picture of the world around him. The body is an objective instrument of cognition of reality. The mind is subjective. The mind requires development to learn how to think objectively about reality. The mind must learn to listen, to listen to the body, and through it to the world, otherwise it will be forced to create illusions, logical constructions and other things that have nothing to do with reality. In addition, the mind becomes the "master of the situation," begins to fantasize uncontrollably, create subpersonalities and false individuality. But there is only one master in the world. If we are to become "in his image," it would do well to learn how to use and control our minds. The mind is a tool, but it is not you. You are something else. You are an undeveloped child. Set yourself free.
This is the beautiful creation in which we live. It is for us, as it is for many other thinking beings who know reality through themselves. Except that We use a tiny fraction of the possibilities of this world, because our freedom to perceive creation, our level of participation in creation is limited by our level of development.
As you yourself say, quantum mechanics does not give you answers to your questions. It only reveals to you that the world does not work according to the rules and laws you have imagined, that it is complex and ambiguous, if you approach its cognition by means of mental representations. Quantum mechanics won't give you the answer to how the world works. And no friend of a friend's theory will do. Yes, you may be able to derive some utility from this theory. A consumer benefit. You want to make the best of everything, don't you? But the world doesn't exist theoretically. It exists in a very real way.
Only you yourself can have the answer.
Clear your mind, free yourself. And you will understand everything. Truth will become self-evident, and you will have your first freedom: you will experience yourself as a thinking, acting unit of creation.
You will find a self free of illusions.
Otherwise, you will remain lonely and lost in the boundless universe as beings, unable to do anything else but consume your own created disfigured and limited in meaning and worldview values.
