Once in one company of progressive citizens Peter Afonasyevich was asked a question:
- Piotr Afonasyevich, what do you think about human civilization?
Asking this question, citizens expected to hear something positive and life-affirming. However, if they had known that frankness, critical, clear mind and cool temper are the main features of Piotr Afonasyevich's character, they would have thought carefully before asking such questions.
- I beg your pardon? - Mr. Fakofsky interrogated, - Do you mean a bunch of fatcats, thieves and speculators, degenerates with unclear goals, dumbed down by idleness, greed and self-importance?
Or about the crowd of savages surrounding them, fooled by idiotic ideas, who are lied to at every turn, but who for some unknown reason piously believe in their rights and freedoms, while violating the rights and freedoms of other citizens at every opportunity? Even though they don't really have any rights and freedoms?
Who live in general not badly, they are settled in big houses, which, however, can be taken away, if necessary, give them shiny means of transportation, in general deadening comfort and various unnecessary and aimless niceties, while taking away their life force?
Who are very fond of various arts and philosophy that they have no clue about, but are nice to talk about and nice to have without considering the purchase price?
Who live in lies and ignorance of the fact that all this is swelling and being built at the expense of another group of citizens, to whom nobody gives anything at all, but only takes away, who are destined only to work, get sick and die to feed their children? However, it is not customary to talk about this group, because they are pitiful, but who is to blame them for being born like this?
At the same time, this whole community of half apes is in a constant state of anger, anxiety, and a state of war or revolution? Where perversion and falsification of facts are called science, and experiments on citizens are called medicine and social assistance?
Who value their property, comfort and personal interest above the health and happiness of their children, the health of the planet, their environment? Is that what you're talking about? For God's sake, my friends.
Fakofsky was silent for a moment and continued:
- "So this is what they are, these men, Hermes, and yet you see for yourself what they do and with what ambition they contest each other for power, honor, and wealth, though they will have to leave it all behind and come to us with only one obol." Remember? Let's talk about something a little more interesting.
Any complication depends on three factors - diversity of elements, their discrimination and integration into unity. All the varieties of beings described by the deeply respected Peter Afonasyevich create diversity. Some are even able to discriminate it, that is, to understand who is who in it. Those who are able to integrate the discriminated into unity create civilization out of diversity. Even though it is not accessible to all diversity.
Hm. Mr. Fakovsky is more concerned about where all this unity is going 🙂 and whether it will be able to survive for the next, let's say, 200 years. And if so, at the cost of what losses.
However, adds Piotr Afonasyevich, there are other civilizations in the sphere of the Earth. So, if it is not us, then it will be others, for no place is empty.
Thank you for your thoughts.
